There are several characteristics that make this 5 inch float special.
First, there is an amazing drip of glass that frozen in time. I call it an 'Icicle Drip'. It's an unusual wanna be spindle.
Next, this float has an undocumented mark. It's comprised of three separate symbols. It begins with a symbol similar to Tokui on the right side, a Sa in the middle, then another Tokui-like symbol on the left. (I've got another float with this same maker's mark in a perfect stamp.)
There are also some faint amber swirls in the glass.
Plus it has two seal buttons together making for a double seal. This is probably where all the extra glass came from to make the 'Icicle Drip'.
Add in the desirable 5 inch size, swirling in the glass, and tons of bubbles. Yeah, this float has a lot going on!
Another one of my favorite floats.
This float has excellent provenance having come from the ex-Ramon Fulton collection.
